I was checking out a fellow blogger's site, and in his most recent post, he offers his readers the opportunity to ask personal questions. All topics are open, not just sex...I don't imagine he will answer all, but we'll see.
The dude, who I always thought sounded like a good guy, sort of takes a dig at other bloggers in this post, saying, "I try to keep my blog different than other bloggers and frankly the fact that a lot of others are doing it makes me not want to."
I credit him as one of the bloggers who influenced me, but is he being obnoxious in saying something like this? Should it not stick out like a thorn? Maybe I'm over-reacting, but didn't like the way it read.
Check out the site if you want: The Great Cock Hunt. I considered taking him off of my "favorite blogs" list, but decided against it. Honestly, he doesn't give a shit about what I do. He's much "bigger" and more popular than me.

If it's a good blog, it's a good blog. So if you want to be childish and not link to his, go ahead. But I feel readers seek out each blog for different reasons and leave with different experiences.
you are correct about one thing. you're overreacting. i read his blog all the time and have never gotten the impression that he thinks he's better than you or any other blogger. i have already read the post you're referring to and i think you're taking it way too personally and going way overboard in your assessment. i like your blog and encourage you to continue it. quit being so dramatic about alex, though.
don't sweat this.
being (allegedly) "bigger and more popular" really doesn't mean much if you consider the context. we're all just bloggin here - we're not saving the world. ;-)
although i understand your perspective of why it came across as off-putting - i think you may be overanalyzing his statement. either way, dust it off. you're blog is cake - and that's all that matters.
quite frankly - it's not as if any of our blogs are all that different. we're all writing about our sex lives - we just happen to occupy different sexual niches.
